Buvuma have confirmed the termination of head coach Owen Kato’s employment with immediate effect.
The confirmation was made after Buvuma suffering a 3-0 defeat to visitors at Magyo grounds
“This letter serves as formal notice of the immediate termination of contracts for the following staff at Buvuma FC;
Coach Owen Kato- Head coach
Coach Denis Watuke- 1st assistant coach
Coach Ben Kalama Lwanga – Goalkeeping Coach
The trio have managed five games winning one, drawn once and lost three.
Medi Vubya will now be in charge of the team as a hunt for the new head coach goes on,
“Please be informed that Coach Medi Vubya will take charge of our team with immediate effect. Further details regarding our new Head Coach with be communicated in due time.”
Buvuma’s next opponent will be Bugerere at Magyo grounds on Saturday 9th- August at the resumption of the second round of the 2025 Masaza Cup tournament.
