URA FC have parted ways with goalkeeper Denis Otim, Swift Sports reliably understands.

Otim leaves URA FC as a free agent following the expiry of his employment contract with the club.

Otim joined The Tax Collectors in 2023 on a two year contract from Express FC.

He becomes the latest player to leave the club after defender Enock Walusimbi who has been serving as the team captain.

Otim’s departure comes shortly after the signing of Chrispus Kusiima, who is yet to be unveiled, from Kitara FC.

The club has also awarded contract extensions to Moses Aliro, Laban Tibiita, Norman Namanya, Ibrahim Wammanah and James Ssemujju.

The Alex Isabirye coached signed finished fourth on the league table last season with 52 points from 30 games played.

Otim is also a former player of Mbarara FC, Nyamityobora FC and the Uganda Hippos.
