Express FC are interested in signing midfielder Moses Oloya and wing back Musa Segujja from relegated side Wakiso Giants FC, according to 102.1 FUFA FM.
Recruitment of new players at Express is underway after ending the uncertainty that hovered around coach Badru Kaddu.
Oloya and Segujja are some of the players the Red Eagles want to sign following an exodus of a number of players from last season’s squad.
Oloya joined Wakiso Giants at the start of last season following a lengthy and successful spell in Vietnam.
Besides playing for the Uganda Cranes, Oloya featured for Vietnamese side Sai Gon, Binh Duong, Ha Noi and Hai Phong as well as Russia’s Kuban Krasnodar.
The former Cranes offensive midfielder is expected to add experience in the club’s midfield that already lost Saidi Kyeyune to Police FC.
Segujja primarily operates as a right back but has often been deployed as a right winger and a right wing back for the Purple Sharks.
Express under coach Kaddu are expected to go for a blend between the experienced and the young blood in the recruitment process.
The 7-time league champions finished a distant 10th on the table with 39 points from 30 games played.
