Walukuba Barbarians and Thunderbirds were the winners of the Kabaka’s Coronation Rugby 7’s the in men and women’s categories held at Kyaddondo Rugby Club.
Walukuba Barbarians to retain the trophy defeated Platinum Credit Heathens 19-5 in the men’s final.
They were also last year’s winners after defeating Life Guards Rams 12-7 at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
In the Ladies category, Thunders emerged winners when they defeated Walukuba Titans 15-0.
Owek.Robert Serwanga the Minister for Youth, Sports and Art in the Buganda Kingdom, congratulated all the participants for displaying the most outstanding performances,
“I appreciate the Rugby Union for working together with us in making sure we join hands to continue developing the game weldone the participants and congratulations to the winners.”
In the men’s, Toyota Buffaloes finished third.
