Ibrahim Kirya has returned to SC Villa where he will serve as assistant coach for the forthcoming season.
Last season, Kirya served as assistant coach to Abbey Kikomeko Bogere at BUL FC as they finished third on the Uganda Premier league table.
Kirya will work under SC Villa Serbian tactician Zeljko Kovacevic who replaced Morley Byekwaso at the helms of the record league champions.
He has previously served at URA FC, SC Villa, Lweza FC, Wakiso Giants and Tooro United in the capacity of head coach.
Kirya also previously worked as assistant coach to Jackson Magera during the 2022/23 season.
Kirya is a two time Buganda Masaza Cup winner with Gomba (2020) and Bulemeezi Ssaza (2023). He is also the technical director at Buweekula Ssaza team.
SC Villa’s technical team also has Samuel Mujabi Kawalya who replaced Yusuf Ssenyonjo as goalkeeping coach.
Dan Mubiru a former player at the club will work as the team manager, Samuel Tusingwire is the performance analyst while Hakim Ssenkumba is the Youth team coach. Moses Basena is the Technical director at SC Villa.
