Express FC are interested in signing midfielder Siraje Sentamu, Swift Sports reliably understands.
Sentamu is a free agent following the expiry of his employment contract with Vipers as earlier reported.
The hard tackling defensive midfielder is set to explore options elsewhere and Express FC is the most imminent destination.
Express are also in a rebuilding process under coach Kaddu Badru who is tasked with recruitment following an exodus of players from the previous season.
Notably midfielders Daniel Shabena and Saidi Kyeyune have left the club to join NEC FC and Police FC respectively.
Sentamu is the most decorated player in Vipers’ history having won five Uganda Premier League titles and four Uganda Cups.
He is expected to add steel and experience in the Express midfield should his imminent move materialize.
Express FC are also interested in signing Wakiso Giants trio of Lawrence Bukenya, Moses Oloya and Musa Ssegujja.
