Ssingo Ssaza team players stormed out of camp on Thursday in a dispute over winning bonus pay and poor conditions.

This website understands that Ssingo management team officials failed to pay players’ winning bonus for their victory over Mawogola at the start of the second round last weekend.

Ssingo beat Mawogola 1-0 on Sunday last week to stay in contention for a slot in the quarterfinals of the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup.

They are still unbeaten this term in the six games they have so far played, having managed two wins and four draws in Muganzirwazza group.

Ssingo are also the only side yet to concede a goal in the competition in this year’s campaign.

Under the stewardship of Bastu Ssemuyaba and Hussein Mbalangu, Ssingo will be aiming at clinching the title that they last won in 2018 during Shafik Bisaso’s reign.

The two time Masaza Cup winners will on Sunday, 17th August travel to Kkooki for their match-day 7 contest at Kasambya Playgrounds.
