Kitara FC have completed the signing of former Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Juuko on a two year contract.
Juuko returns to active football having spent the previous season on the sidelines.
He last featured for Vipers in the 2023/24 season before he became a free agent as his contract expired.
Juuko is expected to add experience and quality in the Kitara defense heading into the new season.
His playing experience stretches from Bunamwaya (Vipers) to SC Victoria University yo Simba SC in Tanzania to Wydad Casablanca in Morocco and Express FC.
Juuko joins the growing list of new signings at the club that also includes Isa Lumu, Amir Kakomo, Henry Musisi and Sadiq Ssekyembe.
The club is expected to unveil John Toki Byamukama from Tusker, Rashid Toha from Kenya Police and Emmanuel Wasswa from Express FC.
Frank Zaga Tumwesigye, Patrick Kaddu, Jasper Aheebwa, David Ndihabwe and Benjamin Nyakoojo have extended their stay at the club.
