Liga MX Femenil (Mexican Women’s League) side Atlas FC Femenil have completed the signing of Crested Cranes striker Juliet Nalukenge.
Nalukenge has officially been unveiled by the Guadalajara based side on a season-long contract.
The highly-rated striker featured for Turkish sides Kayseri Spor and 1027 Antalya Spor last season after leaving Cyprus giants Apollon Ladies.
Nalukenge earned international recognition after her impressive performances that elevated her to Player of the Year Award in 2019.
She subsequently won back-to-back NXGN Awards in 2021 and 2022 as one of the best wonderkids in the world.
Nalukenge is one of the most decorated player in Uganda’s Women’s Football having won multiple titles at individual and team level since she rose to the scene with Kawempe Muslim.
She becomes the second Ugandan player in the Mexican Women’s League after Sandra Nabweteme who plays for Santos Laguna.
