Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City FC has completed the signing of the duo of offensive midfielder Ian Amanya and Oscar Ssesazi.
Amanya joins Mbarara City from Lugazi FC on a two year employment contract.
He has spent just one season at Lugazi FC whom he joined in August last year from Kaaro Karungi.
Amanya has also previously played for Spartans Academy, Kazo Excel FC, and KL United Namasuba before joining Kaaro Karungi.
The Simon Peter Mugerwa coached side has also scooped Ssesazi’s signature.

He joins the Ankole Lions also on a two year employment contract from Mbale Heroes FC. He also previously featured for NEC FC.
Mbarara City are preparing for the forthcoming 2025/26 season. Under the stewardship of Mugerwa, they will host their home games at World Bank funded Rwamwanja Stadium located in Nkoma cell, Katalyeba in Kamwenge district.
