The FUFA TV officially kicked off on Tuesday with seven games played on Match-day one at St.Joseph’s College Layibi in Gulu.
Sixteen teams will be battling it out for the next couple of days to determine who clinches this year’s title.
In Group A, hosts St.Joseph’s College Layibi had a bright start to the campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Kako SS 1-0 on match day one.
Reigning champions Nabumali High School humbled Mpanga SS 2-0 in the Group B contest while Duhanga SS and Jinja College played out to a goalless stalemate in the other Group B game on Tuesday.
Dr Obote College Boroboro were the biggest winners on match day with a 5-1 shredding of St.Balikuddembe SSS in their Group C encounter while Ngora High overcame Mengo SSS 3-2 in the other Group C game.
Jinja SSS and St Charles Lwanga College Koboko had their Group D game end in a goalless stalemate while Kibuli SS cruised 2-0 past Mbale SS in the other Group D match.
FUFA TV Cup ambassadors Tonny Mawejje and Hassan Wasswa graced the games on match-day one that produced 16 goals.
