The quarterfinals of the 2025 FUFA TV Cup Schools competition were played on Saturday, 6th September 2025 at St.Joseph’s College Layibi.
Holders Nabumali High School, Kibuli SS, Jinja SSS and hosts St.Joseph’s College Layibi all secured semifinal slots.
St.Joseph’s College Layibi humbled Duhanga SS 2-0 to reach the last four thanks to goals from Okello Benard and Ogenrwot Kenneth.
Kibuli SS won their quarterfinal contest against Ngora High School 1-0, with Andrew Kassaga scoring the all important goal of the contest.
Jinja SSS needed Owita Lawrence brace to overcome Dr.Obote Boroboro 2-0 in their quarterfinal game on Saturday.
Defending champions Nabumali High School needed a 6-5 penalty shootout eliminate St.Charles Lwanga Kasasa.
The game ended 1-1 in normal time with Maruk Denis scoring for Nabumali High school and Ntume Alex Junior struck for St.Charles Lwanga Kasasa.
In the semifinals, Jinja SS will face off with holders Nabumali High School while Kibuli SS will entertain hosts St.Joseph’s College Layibi.
