The FUFA Drum resumed over the weekend with four games played across various playgrounds.
In Group A, West Nile Province edged Bugisu 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a sole Sadat Anaku goal.
The former KCCA FC man gave West Nile the lead in the 25th minute of the first period of the game and his goal was the difference for the two sides.
Bugisu Province also suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Acholi in their previous game last weekend.
Buganda Province who drew 3-3 with Ankole Province in the first leg of their group A campaign played out a goalless stalemate with reigning champions Lango Province on Saturday.
Tooro Province needed a Joseph Ssemujju strike to overcome Kampala Province in a Group D contest at Wankulukuku on Saturday.
Bunyoro powered past Busoga 2-1 in the Group C game on Sunday.
Karim Ndugwa netted a brace for Bunyoro while Sowedi Lwenda found Busoga’s only goal of the contest.
Since its inception, the FUFA Drum has crowned multiple champions, with Buganda claiming the maiden edition, followed by Acholi and West Nile, before Lango’s triumph last year.
