Vipers SC have completed the signing of KCCA FC forward Usama Arafat Kizza, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Usama has been a free agent since the expiration of contract at KCCA FC and has put pen to paper on a three year deal with the Venoms.
This website earlier reported that Vipers were planning to sign the winger before the end of this transfer window.https://swiftsportsug.com/2025/08/25/vipers-hopeful-of-finalising-usama-deal-in-time/
KCCA FC also wanted Usama to extend his employment contract for at least another two years but the player has decided to cross to Kitende.
Vipers beat South African clubs TS Galaxy and Durban City who were also interested in Usama’s signature.
It should be noted that Usama is a former St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende student the feeder of Vipers SC senior team and has previously featured for Buganda regional side Kajjansi United, Mbale Tigers and CRO.
He joined KCCA FC at the start of the 2021/22 season on a three year employment contract from Kajjansi United.

Usama was part of the Uganda Cranes CHAN team that reached the quarterfinals before their painful exit to Senegal over the weekend. He however had limited playing time on the team, coming on as a late substitute in all his appearances at the tournament in East Africa.
Robin Kane Hney, Mark Yallah, Taddeo Lwanga, Odili Chukwuma, Kevin Dasylva Bady, Ashraf Mandela and Enock Ssebaggala are the other new signings at Vipers SC.
