Police FC have unveiled former Vipers SC left back Richard Matovu.
As earlier reported by this website, Matovu joins the Cops on a two year employment contract as a free agent.
Matovu spent two seasons at Vipers and won the Uganda Premier League title and the Stanbic Uganda Cup last season.
Matovu comes in with experience to bolster the club’s left back position that heavily relied on Allan Bukenya last season.
He previously featured for BUL FC, Kyetume FC and Arua Hill SC before joining Vipers in July 2023.
Police FC also signed Benon Tahomera and Saidi Kyeyune from BUL FC and Express FC respectively. Deus Bukenya is the other experience player signed by Matia Lule coached side
Goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga has also signed a new contract with the club, as earlier reported.
