Midfielder Sam Kintu ‘Tiyo’ has joined new league entrants Entebbe UPPC FC from Kenya’s Shabana FC.
Kintu returns to the UPL after a one year stint with Shabana FC in the Kenya Premier League.
He last featured for UPDF FC during the 2023/24 season before he left as a free agent.
Kintu has also previously played for Kira Young, Proline FC and Express FC and also Entebbe UPPC in 2022 while it was still known as Gaddafi FC.
The combative midfielder is expected to be key in the club’s midfield heading into the new season.
He joins a cast of new signings at the club who include; Julius Poloto, Denis Otim, Isa Mubiru, John Alou Kokas, Issa Bugembe, Nordin Bunjo, Hassan Ssenyonjo and Musitafa Mujuzi.
Fazil Tumwine, Rogers Omedwa, Jonathan Gift Odongo, Muhammad Kyeyune, Ambrose Kigozi, Emmanuel Iisat and Steven Munguchi are others.
