Abdallah Mubiru’s Entebbe UPPC edged Lugazi FC 2-1 during their second Uganda Premier League game at Bugongo Fisheries on Wednesday.
The Entebbe based side lost their opening league game to debutants Buhimba United Saints last week needed a quick reaction over Lugazi FC.
Lugazi FC won their first game with a 3-1 win over Calvary FC.
Freedom Mungudit gave Lugazi the lead in the 24th minute of the contest as they went into the halftime breather leading.
The home side found the leveller in the 64th minute when Issa Bugembe who is on loan from Vipers SC.
Second half substitute Fazil Chopla Tumwine, also on loan from Vipers completed a comeback win for Entebbe UPPC in the 83rd minute.
Entebbe UPPC will next visit SC Villa on 15th October, 2025 after the international while Lugazi FC will visit KCCA FC the following day.
