Pumas UNAM 3-4 Atlas Femenil
Juliet Nalukenge scored her first goal for Atlas Femenil in a thrilling 4-3 win over Pumas UNAM in the Mexican Women’s League.
Nalukenge came off the bench at 3-3 in the 79th minute and ultimately won all three points for Atlas Femenil.
The Crested Cranes striker recently joined Atlas Femenil but has been sparingly used as a substitute off the bench.
Coming into the encounter, Nalukenge had featured in a total of 75 minutes in the five of the previous six league games.
After replacing Sanjuana Munoz in the 79th minute, Nalukenge finished off perfectly from a neat close from Maritza Maldonado in the 6th of the added eight minutes.
Atlas Femenil have now won five of their last seven league games, drawing once and losing the other.
Nalukenge and teammates are expected to return to action on Thursday 16th October against Club America.
