KCCA FC played out to a goalless stalemate in their first game at Lugogo this season on Thursday night.
KCCA FC were however criticized for shipping Kampala Capital City Authority workers to fill up the terraces of Lugogo.
Last week, KCCA FC fans told the club administration that they were to boycott league matches in protest over the new league format introduced by FUFA.
Back to the game, the 13-time Uganda Premier League champions were frustrated by Lugazi who are co-coached by Steven Bogere and Francis Mugerwa.
Sammy Ssebaduka had the first decent chance of the contest but his effort went over the bar before he forced Lugazi goalkeeper Mutebi into a save moments later.
In the second half the best chance of the game fell to Ivan Ahimbisibwe who headed wide Ssebaduka’s perfect cross in the 57th minute.
By full-time whistle the two sides settled for a point as KCCA FC turn focus to their next league game against Express FC at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.
