Morocco 2-0 Argentina
Morocco have beaten Argentina 2-0 in the final to clinch the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Santiago, Chile.
Youngster Yassir Zabiri scored a first half brace that sealed the historic victory for the Atlas Cubs.
Zabiri scored a stunning free kick in the 12th minute before doubling the lead with a close range finish in the 29nd minute.
Zabiri, who plays for Portuguese side Famalicao, finished the tournament as a joint top scorer (with four others) with five goals scored.

Morocco’s Watford forward Othmane Maamma was named the tournament’s MVP and won the Golden Ball while Zabiri won the Silver Ball.
Morocco has enjoyed success ever since Fouzi Lekjaa took charge as the Federation President in 2014 and has won a total of 30 trophies in several tournaments since then.
Consequently, Morocco became the 2nd ever African country to win the U20 World Cup, after Ghana who won it in 2009 under the captaincy of Andre Dede Ayew.
