Kajjansi United started the season with a convincing 3-1 victory over Buganda Regional League reigning champions Super Eagles Lugongwe.
Allan Kasozi, Patrick Ouke and Toolit Bixiler scored each for Gladys Nakitto’s coached side Kajjansi United.
Super Eagles Lugongwe’s consolation goal was scored by Sam Lukoye.
The other two games of the day ended in stalemates.
Wobulenzi United and Kiboga United played to a one all draw at Katikamu Vete grounds.
At Kira grounds Kira United FC also drew 1-1 with visitors Young Simba FC.
The Buganda Regional League 2025/26 season will resume on Sunday 28th-October with eight games.
Seeta United will host Buwambo United at Seeta Church of Uganda grounds while Buikwe Red Stars will visit Kiboga United FC at Bamusuuta SSS grounds.
At Ntenjeru Ssaza grounds Uganda Sports Arena will host Wobulenzi United.
Manyangwa FC and Simba FC will play at Gayaza Lufula grounds, at the Bombo Military Barracks grounds Young Simba FC will entertain Nantabulirwa FC.
Super Eagles Lugongwe hosts Kira United FC at Kasanda Ssaza grounds, Kajjansi United will be away against Synergy FC at Ndeeba Kayunga grounds.
Nyendo FC and Masaka City FC will play at Kyetume Lwetamu.
