The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga has confirmed that Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will grace the final of the 2025 Masaza Cup final between Ssingo and Buweekula at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo on Saturday, 1st November.
Katikkiro called upon Kabaka’s subjects to come in huge numbers to grace the climax of the prestigious competition.
“His Majesty Kabaka has this morning returned back from England where he has been for official duties. He will grace today’s Masaza Cup final and I call upon the people from Buganda Kingdom to come in huge numbers and welcome him as well as watch the final.”
Ssingo are contesting in their sixth final while Buweekula are in their third final. Buweekula have never won the competition before while Ssingo are two time winners in 2015 and 2018.
