Vipers SC ended KCCA FC’s unbeaten start working a narrow 1-0 victory on Friday night at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Former KCCA FC player Allan Okello scored the all important goal as the Venoms recorded their second consecutive win of the campaign.

In the 10th minute of the game, the hosts came close to the opener when Usama Arafat who was also facing his former side fed Enock Ssebagala inside the area but hit his effort wide.
Two minutes after the half-hour mark, Okello gave the Venoms the lead when he capitalized on goalkeeper Charles Lukwago’s blunder.
Lukwago failed to deal with Yunus Sentamu’s cross spilling the ball into Okello’s path.
KCCA were an improved side in the second half but barely caused any threat to Alfred Mudekereza.
Vipers are now on six points in their first two games and move to tenth position while KCCA FC remain top with 11 points.
After the international break, Vipers will be at home to Maroons FC while KCCA FC next host URA FC.
