FUFA has sanctioned Paidha Black Angels FC over hooliganism during their FUFA Big League match against Ntungasaze FC that was held on November 2nd 2025.
Disciplinary Panel (FDP), disciplinary proceedings were opened after match reports indicated that Paidha Black Angels supporters assaulted match officials, threw stones at officials and visiting players, and used abusive language.
The ugly incidents injured one of Ntugasaze player and FUFA through its Disciplinary Panel stated that the club failed to ensure adequate order and security inside and outside the stadium, as required under Articles 14(8) and 14(9) of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Code.
FUFA has therefore imposed the following sanctions:
•A deduction of two points and two goals from Paidha Black Angels’ accumulated league totals.
•A fine of UGX 500,000 to be paid to the FUFA account within 14 days, with proof of payment submitted to the FDP.
•A stern warning to the club regarding similar acts in the future.
According to the disciplinary panel the penalties are intended to deter further incidents of hooliganism in Ugandan football.
Following the points deduction, Paidha now has four points and are bottom on the 16-team FUFA Big League table.
