Uganda Cranes beat Chad 2-1 in the international friendly at Stade Berrechid in Morocco on Friday.
Ikpeazu Uchechukwu and Melvyn Lorenzen were on target as Uganda edged Chad 2-1.
Chad goalkeeper Mbaynaissen Jourdain fouled forward Ikpeazu in the forbidden area before the referee pointed to the spot.
Ikpeazu stepped up to the occasion scoring his first goal for the Cranes from the spot.
Goalkeeper Dennis Kiggundu who got his first senior team national team cap denied Tchaouna Haroun in a one-on-one situation midway into the first half.
After the recess, Melvyn doubled Uganda’s lead for his maiden goal in the national team colours.
Chad pulled one back through Tchaouna’s penalty in the 64th minute.
Uganda held on to victory and will next play Morocco on Tuesday, November 18th.
