Iganga United FC stunned Wakiso Giants with a late 1-0 win on Sunday at Iganga Ssaza Grounds.
Euku Simon scored an 89th minute winner for Iganga to shock Baker Mbowa’s coached Purple Sharks.
Following defeat, Wakiso is now second on the FUFA Big League table with 14 points same as Nebbi Central who beat Kiyinda Boys 2-1 to also go to 14 points.
Blacks Power continued with their fine form with a 2-1 comeback win over Ntugasaze at Ebenezer University Ground in Lira on Sunday.
James Jarieko had given the visitors the lead before Pascal Irasa and Emmanuel Okech handed Blacks Power a comeback win.
This is Blacks Power’s fourth consecutive home win after victories against Onduparaka, Kaaro Karungi and Iganga United.
Blacks Power extend their lead at the top of the FUFA Big league to 18 points, four above second placed Wakiso Giants.
