Uganda slips once again in latest FIFA Rankings

Uganda Cranes have dropped once again in the latest FIFA World Rankings released on Thursday, 20th November 2025.

Uganda is currently 85th in the World, dropping two places in the new standings.

In the previous rankings that were released in October, Uganda was 83rd.

During the November international window, Uganda played two games, registering a 2-1 win over Chad before suffering a 4-0 defeat to 2025 AFCON hosts Morocco.

Meanwhile, Tanzania Uganda’s AFCON 2025 Group stage opponents are currently 112th in the World. The other Cranes AFCON opponent Tunisia are 40th while Nigeria is 38th in the latest rankings.

Meanwhile, Spain is top of the global standings followed by World champions Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Croatia.

Morocco who have won 18 consecutive matches are Africa’s number one ranked side and 11th in the World.
