BUGANDA REGIONAL LEAGUE: Buwambo lose unbeaten run as Nyendo and Buikwe drop points

Buganda Regional League defending champions Super Eagles Lugongwe got off the mark as Buwambo United suffered their first defeat of the seaon on match day six.

Table leaders Buwambo United FC lost 1-0 to Young Simba FC courtsey of Derrick Tennywa at Bombo Military Barracks grounds.

Despite defeat, Buwambo United maintains the top of the table slot with 15 points from six games.

Henry Kayemba, Gavin Baligeya, and Vicent Agaku scored each for Super Eagles Lugongwe in their 3-0 victory over Buikwe Red Stars at Kasanda Ssaza grounds.

It was Super Eagles Lugongwe’s first victory after they had lost two and drew twice.

Buikwe Red Stars remain winless after match day six they have lost five and drawn once.

Nyendo FC and Simba FC played to a goalles draw.

Shafik Mavuma scored Seeta United FC’s only goal in their 1-0 victory over Uganda Sports Arena.

Match day six will climax on Wednesday 26th November with Kajjansi United hosting Kira United FC at Mwererwe.
