Record Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa will be targeting table leadership when they visit UPDF FC on Tuesday at Bombo Barracks.
The Jogoos are on a four match winning streak after victories against Police FC, Buhimba United Saints, Kitara FC and NEC FC.
They are also unbeaten since their 2-1 defeat to 13-time league champions KCCA FC in their first league match this term.
Zeljko Kovacevic’s men are currently third on the table with 13 points, one below leaders KCCA FC and Police FC.
The army side ended their losing streak last week with a win over newcomers Calvary FC.
UPDF are 13th with 6 points from and just one point above the relegation zone.
UPDF will look up to experienced players Bernard Muwanga, a former SC Villa captain along with Aggrey Kirya and Abdul Kimera.
The Jogoos will be boosted by the return of Reagan Mpande after national team duties and is expected to start. They will also look up to in form players Najib Yiga, Hassan Mubiru and Frank Ssebuufu for inspiration.
Last season, the army side prevailed 2-0 over SC Villa in Bombo. Both sides have managed three wins at the venue in their previous eight meetings.
SC Villa have won eight league matches against UPDF FC in the last 16 meetings, drawing three and losing five.
Meanwhile, Maroons FC will host Lugazi FC while NEC FC will entertain Calvary in the other games on Tuesday.
