NEC updates on Siraje Sentamu injury

NEC FC have given an injury update on midfielder Siraje Sentamu who sustained a right eyelid laceration and frontal bone fracture.

Sentamu was stretched during NEC FC’s 1-0 win over Calvary FC on March Day 8.

The Bugolobi based side has revealed that the midfielder who joined them from Vipers this season underwent a successful surgery following the injury.

“Our midfielder Siraje Sentamu underwent successful surgery following a right eyelid laceration and right frontal bone fracture (supraorbital), sustained against Calvary FC in Matchday 8 of the Startimes Uganda Premier League. Sentamu is to miss NEC FC’s contest against his former paymaster Vipers SC due on Friday, 5th December at Lugogo. He also missed their 1-1 stalemate against Maroons on Saturday
