Uganda’s national netball team She Cranes has won the 2025 Celtic Cup in Scotland, Glasgow.
The She Cranes won all their five games in the tournament that was played in a round-robin format to triumph.
In their final game, She Cranes beat Wales 70-48 on Sunday at Glasgow Emirates Arena.
To triumph at the event, Uganda saw off Namibia, Northern Ireland, hosts Scotland and Zimbabwe before confirming their dominance with a comfortable win over Wales.
The hosts also came closest to overcoming Uganda with a narrow 53-51 defeat on day three while Wales’ successes came against Zimbabwe and Northern Ireland.
