The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has postponed the encounter between Express FC and Calvary FC.

The Red Eagles were set to host newcomers Calvary on Wednesday 3rd December, 2025 at Nakivubo Stadium on Match Day nine but according to the development from UPL CEO Bernard Bainamani the game will have a new date due to the unavailability of the Stadium.

“Greetings from the UPL secretariat. We are in receipt of correspondence from Express FC regarding the temporary unavailability of Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo. The unavailability is due to urgent and critical maintenance works scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 02 Dec 2025 and will continue up to Wednesday, 03 Dec 2025. Accordingly, the fixture involving Express FC vs Calvary FC has been postponed. A new date will be communicated by the Secretariat in due course.” Read the development from Bainamani

Express are 12th on the league table with nine points while Calvary are winless in their maiden topflight campaign with just a single point and are bottom placed.

Calvary is a former home for current Express FC head coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera who replaced Badru Kaddu Mukasa at the helm.

The contest between URA FC and Kitara FC scheduled for Thursday remains unchanged
