Uganda Premier League side Police FC is set to appoint former St Noa Girls FC head coach Tonny Mawejje as their Technical Director.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Mawejje has already agreed to take over the responsibility at the UPL side which he previously played for.
The development comes moments after Mawejje and his assistant Vincent Kayizzi decided to end their marriage with the Finance Trust Bank Women Super League side.
At St.Noa Girls, Mawejje had replaced Jimmy Kintu Mwera who had joined UPL side Calvary FC earlier this season.
Mawejje leaves St.Noa Girls in fourth place with 13 points on the Finance Trust Bank Super Women’s League.
Mawejje who retired from active football at the end of the 2021/22 season has previously coached at Kampala Queens as an assistant and also served in the same capacity at Wakiso Giants FC.
