Mbarara City and Entebbe UPPC played out to a 1-1 draw in their league contest on Wednesday at Rwamwanja Stadium.
Muhammed Kanyike and Ambrose Kigozi were the scorers for both sides.
The hosts took the lead in the 73rd minute through Kayinke who capitalized on a rebound. Kanyike was the Ankole Lions goal scorer during their 2-1 defeat to KCCA FC last week.
Six minutes later, Abdallah Mubiru’s side restored parity through Kigozi after being fed by Hassan Ssenyonjo.
Both sides could only settle for a point despite efforts to find the winner. UPPC is now fifth on the table with 14 points while Mbarara City is 15th with six points in nine games.
Elsewhere, Police thrashed Buhimba United Saints 4-0 in their other game played on Wednesday at Kira Road Stadium.
