Kitara FC continued with their fine form with a narrow 1-0 win over URA FC under the lights of Nakivubo on Thursday.

Patrick Henry Kaddu scored the all important goal as the Royals overcame the Tax collectors.

Kitara came into the contest after wins against BUL FC and Police FC while URA had just thrashed Buhimba United Saints 7-3 in their previous league match.

Three minutes into the game, Kitara was awarded a penalty following a handball in the forbidden area.

Kaddu stepped up and calmly fired the visitors into an early lead from 12 yards.

Nelson Senkatuka had a decent chance to level matters in the 12th minute but his effort went inches wide.

Despite URA FC’s pressure, a resilient Kitara held on to yet another victory and are now fourth on the league table with 11 points in nine matches.
