Allan Okello looks to have played his final game for Vipers SC, with various clubs eyeing his signature next month.
Okello featured in Vipers 1-1 draw with NEC FC last Friday before he was substituted off in the second half.
The attacker is currently with the Uganda Cranes team in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations due in Morocco this month.
Okello had offers from Sudanese giants El Merriekh and Tanzania side Simba SC during the previous transfer window but decided to stay at the seven league champions.
The links have not gone away, though, with both sides still courting his signature ahead of the January transfer window.
Okello remains tied down to the seven time Uganda Premier League champions until 2026.
He has been superb for both club and country this year. He was Uganda’s top scorer at the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN) with three goals and also scored three goals at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Okello helped Vipers win the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup domestic double. He was the top scorer in the league last term with 19 goals.
