Lugazi and Police FC played out to a 1-1 stalemate in their league game at Najjembe on Wednesday.
Abdul Kalanzi scored for the home side before Emmanuel Mugume levelled matters for visitors.
Kalanzi gave Lugazi the lead in the 36th minute of the game finishing off a Freedom Mungdit delivery.
Before Kalanzi’s strike, Police FC goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga had denied Mungdit in the 26th minute of the game.
Early in the second period, Lawrence Tezikya forced Lugazi FC goalkeeper Juma Mutebi into a brilliant save.
The Cops eventually got the equalizer in the 65th minute through second half substitute Mugume.
Police are now third in the league standings with 18 points while Lugazi is 13th with 10 points.
