Capradossi, Kayondo join Cranes camp as AFCON preparations intensify

The Uganda Cranes camp in Morocco has been boosted by the arrival of defenders Elio Capradossi and Aziz Kayondo.

The arrival of Kayondo and Capradossi brings the tally of the players in the camp to 27 with three yet to arrive.

Defenders Tobby Sibbick, Jordan Obita and Timothy Awany are the three players yet to join the camp.

Sibbick and Obita are expected to join the camp tonight and tomorrow respectively whereas Awany has had a delayed arrival following the death of his father.

The Uganda Cranes will play their final build up game against Gabon on Thursday (tomorrow) 17th December in Casablanca.

The Paul Put coached team played out a 2-2 draw against Moroccan giants AS FAR in the first buildup game on Saturday.

The Cranes will face Nigeria, Tunisia and East African neighbors Tanzania in Group C of the AFCON tournament.
