Teso edged Kampala 1-0 thanks to Michael Siwu’s second half strike.
Siwu netted the only goal of the contest in the 77th minute to break Kampala Province’s resilience.
In the other game on Sunday, reigning champions Lango overcame Ankole away from home in a 2-1 victory.
URA FC captain Moses Aliro was among the scorers for Lango during their win over Ankole.
On Saturday, Kigezi beat Bunyoro in a five goal thriller that ended 3-2 while Acholi overcame West Nile 1-0 on the same day.
