Buganda and Acholi Provinces registered victories on match day four of the FUFA Drum games played on Saturday 27th December.
Left back George Kaddu scored Buganda’s sole goal that won the game 1-0 against Ankole at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
Kaddu’s moment came in the 72th minute when he scored a direct free kick and won all the three points for Buganda.
The left back appreciated his fellow players for the fighting and promised to give it all in their next game against Lango,
“I would like to appreciate all of us for the fight, and I am grateful to have helped my side take home all the three points. It’s not over yet, and I promise to give my best when we face off with Lango in our next game back home.”
In the other game of the day, Brian James Obedi scored for Acholi in their 2-0 victory over Bugisu at Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu.
Action resumes today Sunday 28th with two games.
At St. Paul National Stadium Fort Portal Tooro Province hosts Teso while Ankole and Kigezi and Busoga will face off at Kigezi AL Madina playground in Kabale.
