Former SC Villa striker Ivan Bogere is set to leave Tanzanian Premier League side Tabora United, Swift Sports Uganda has learnt.
Bogere is currently out of contract at Tabora whom he joined in August 2024 following his departure at SC Villa.
Bogere is also a former Proline FC whom he helped gain top-flight promotion in the 2018/19 season. In the same season he scored 15 goals and scooped the golden boot.
He was part of the national U-20 squad that won silver at the U-20 AFCON in Mauritania in 2021, he won the golden boot with the Hippos in 2020 in Arusha Tanzania as well as the golden boot after scoring five goals in the AFCON Qualifiers.
Besides Proline and SC Villa, Bogere has also featured for Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League.
At Tabora, he scored eight goals across all competitions and made a couple of assists during his time at the club.
