FUFA DRUM: One win, three draws as Match-Day Five climaxes

Match-Day five of the FUFA Drum saw three games end in 1-1 stalemates and one win on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

West Nile were the only victors on Match-Day five with a 2-0 win over Bugisu at Mbale Municipal Stadium on Saturday.

West Nile came into the game with three points needed Sadat Anaku and Moses Ocoman goals to overcome Bugisu who are pointless in Group A.

West Nile is now on six points while Acholi remains top of the group with nine points.

Kampala Province recorded their first point of the campaign following their 1-1 draw away to Tooro in a Group D encounter on Saturday.

Eric Tumwine scored for Tooro while Tekakwo James struck for the visitors Kampala. Tooro also progress to the last eight with six points while Kampala stay rock bottom in Group D with just a single point.

On Sunday, George Kaddu was on the score sheet for a second consecutive time as Buganda played out to a one-all draw with Lango.

Emmanuel Oketch had given reigning champions Lango the lead in the 25th minute before Kaddu levelled matters for Buganda just before halftime.

Inaugural winners Buganda are now on six points while Lango is on five in Group B.

Meanwhile, Busoga and Bunyoro also shared spoils in a 1-1 stalemate in the Group C contest on Sunday.

Dickson Matama gave Busoga the lead in the 15th minute before Agondeza restored parity for Bunyoro. Busoga is now on Five points while Bunyoro is on four points.
