BUL FC ended seven match winless run with a narrow 1-0 away win over Calvary FC on Wednesday at Midigo Primary School Grounds.
BUL under the stewardship of Alex Isabirye who returned to the side in December following the departure of Abbey Kikomeko came into the contest on a five match losing streak.
Karim Ndugwa scored the all important goal of the game after being fed by Reagan Kalgowa in the ninth minute of the game.
Calvary who are still winless in the debut Uganda Premier League campaign pressed for the leveller but couldn’t breakdown a resilient BUL side.
BUL maximized points and are now eighth on the league table with 13 points while Calvary remains at the bottom of the log with just three points.
Elsewhere, Kitara overcame UPDF FC in a 2-1 in the other game played on Wednesday at Royals Park in Butema.
