FUFA Big League side Kigezi Homeboyz have signed striker Dominic Abonga from South Sudan’s Koryom FC.
Abonga has signed a contract of two years with the Sadick Sempigi coached side and will put on shirt number 19.
The lanky forward returns to Uganda having previously played for Onduparaka FC as well as Kiryandongo United.
Abonga’s arrival bolsters Kigezi’s attacking force and ignites the hopes of promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
Kigezi Homeboyz currently sit second on the FUFA Big League table with 25 points from 15 games played.
Kigezi are four points behind table leaders Blacks Power as the FUFA Big League heads into the closing half of the season.
Kigezi will face Nabugabo United in Lugazi in the Round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on February 10th.
