URA FC have confirmed the return of towering defender Bright Joseph Vuni following a brief loan spell at Entebbe UPPC FC.

Vuni joined Entebbe UPPC FC at the start of the season in a bid to get sufficient playing time but leaves without playing a single game for the Abdallah Mubiru coached side.

The lanky versatile defender will now compete for the first team slots at URA FC ahead of the Uganda Premier League second round.

Vuni joined URA FC at the start of the 2024/25 season but has found playing time hard to come his way since then.

In fact, he has only played 10 times for the Tax Collectors in the league since his switch from UPDF FC.

Vuni has previously played for Arua Hill, UPDF FC in two different stints and Young Simba.

URA FC, who are struggling for form under coach Hussein Mbalangu, will play against Kalongo United in the Round of 64 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Friday 6th February in Agago district.
