Lugazi FC have confirmed the signing of midfielder Hamza Mulambuzi on a two year contract from Mbarara City.
Mulambuzi has spent one and half seasons at Mbarara City and featured in a total of 14 league games in the process.
The lanky midfielder becomes the first signing of Lugazi FC in this mid-season transfer window.
Mulambuzi is expected to make his debut as Lugazi takes on Kampala Regional League side Kisugu FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup today.
He is expected to add steel into Lugazi’s central midfield heading into the second half of the season.
Mulambuzi previously played for SC Villa and Proline FC and also Buddo SS before joining Mbarara City in the 2024/25 season.
Lugazi, coached by Simon Peter Mugerwa, are currently 11th on the table with 15 points accumulated from as many games.
