SC Villa joined the growing list of teams to storm the round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup after edging Pallisa Hospital FC 2-1 in the round of 64 on Friday.

The Jogoos finished the game with a man less after goalkeeper Jean-Braddy Wokorach was sent off early in the first period.

Wokorach was shown marching orders in the fourth minute of the game after fouling Pallisa Hospital forward just outside the box.

Goalkeeper Norman Angufindru came on for Ali Bayo following the red card.

Captain Davi Owori gave the nine time Uganda Cup winners the lead in the 32nd minute before the home side levelled matters midway into the second half.

SC Villa regained the lead ten minutes to regulation time through Aslam Ssemakula whose goal was enough to send them into the next round.

SC Villa join Vipers SC, BUL FC, KCCA FC, Express FC, NEC FC, Kitara FC, Entebbe UPPC FC, URA FC, UPDF FC, Mbarara City, Tapah FC, Six O’clock among others into the round of 32.
