Uganda Cranes striker Muhammad Shaban has parted ways with Ethiopia Premier League side Ethiopia Bunna FC after only four months.
Shaban joined Bunna in October on a one year contract after his move to Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia failed to materialize in the eleventh hour.
He leaves the club after playing 10 league games and had not scored a goal yet.
While Shaban’s immediate destination remains a mystery, he is expected to hit the ground running in a bid to return to the national team fold ahead of the upcoming AFCON 2027.
The mercurial striker made a reputation of one of the best Ugandan strikers of this generation while playing for Onduparaka FC and KCCA FC.
He has also previously turned out for Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca, Libyan sides Al Hilal Benghazi and Al Anwar as well as Vipers SC in Uganda.
Shaban has played 25 times for the Uganda national team scoring three goals.
The Ethiopia Premier League is home to Joel Mutakubwa, Emma Kalyowa, Nafian Alionzi, Geoffrey Wasswa, Simon Peter Oketch, Charles Musige and Allan Kayiwa.
