Lugazi FC have confirmed the signing of Umar Kyebatala on a two year contract from Mbale Heroes.
Kyebatala is a former Vipers SC and Maroons FC as well as Kibuli SS and St. Mary’s Kitende.
The youthful forward is expected to strengthen the club’s offensive department heading into the second half of the season.
He becomes the second player to be unveiled by the Simon Peter Mugerwa coached side after Hamza Mulambuzi who was signed from Mbarara City.
Lugazi have also signed Amuli Mukasa who has been turning out for non-league side Football Classroom in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Kyebatala is expected to debut for Lugazi in their subsequent league game against Police FC on Thursday (tomorrow) 12th February.
Lugazi currently sit 11th on the Uganda Premier League table with 15 points from as many games played.
