BUL FC have signed former Uganda Cubs (U17) and Hippos (U20) defender Ronald Madoi on a two year contract, Swift Sports understands.
Madoi returns to the Uganda Premier League following his brief stints in Greece and USA.
The budding defender last featured for Wakiso Giants locally before joining SFK Pierikos in the Greek third tier in 2024.
He later joined James Madison University in USA in August last year alongside URA FC striker Bruno Bunyaga who later returned to the Tax Collectors after a few months.
Madoi, a former St. Mary’s Kitende defender, rose to the scene with the national U17 (Cubs) and U20 (Hippos) teams.
Notably, he was part of the U20 team that represented Uganda at the U20 AFCON in Egypt in 2023 as well as the All Africa Games in Ghana.
Madoi’s arrival adds steel to the BUL FC central defence that also has Walter Ochora, Tah Barni Kelvin, Bakali Magumba and Najib Fesali.
BUL FC will kickstart their UPL second round with a home duel against table leaders Vipers SC on Friday 13th February.
